Implemented by the IUCN Global Gender Office (GGO) in collaboration with the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity, this project included a global analysis of the level of integration of gender considerations in the NBSAPs transmitted to the Secretariat from 1993 to mid-2016, as well as three pilot country initiatives – in Brazil, Mexico and Uganda – to foster gender integration in the process of NBSAP revision.
