Hormod Sustainable Development Institute, an Iranian non-profit organization, holds a forest cleanup program in celebration of International Year of Forests (2011) and UN Decade on Biodiversity (2011-2020) on Friday, September 16, 2011.
This program will be supported by several domestic NGOs in Kermanshah, Gilan, Mazandaran, Golestan and Isfahan provinces, Iran.
The main objective is to collect, pack and move away the abandoned waste in specified forests with the help of environmental NGOs’ members and indigenous communities.
