Afghanistan's Natural Resources Management and Environmental Protection Project |
Description |
|
The project will help prevent further deterioration of Afghanistan's natural resource base (soil, water, forest, rangeland, and biodiversity) and improve the development profiles of local communities within nature reserves and their buffer zones, and the ability of families and individuals to secure sustainable incomes through self-identified livelihood programs. It would also provide for environmental management capacity and reduce poverty by developing rural energy. |
