IYB Celebrations in Montenegro To celebrate the International Year of Biodiversity 2010, Montenegro accomplished three main activities throughout the year. The first event consisted of an Eco Fair that was done during April, in Podgorica. The second event was a public campaign that lasted throughout the year to promote biodiversity. Finally, during the year, many activities were organised to promote biodiversity and, most importantly, the conservation of habitats in Montenegro.
