The Biodiversity Secretariat organized an International Year of Biodiversity commemoration ceremony/media event on 18 February 2010 at the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources. The
2010-IYB Banner was unveiled by the Hon. Minister and an 2010-IYB information kit was issued to the gathered audience and media. The Biodiversity Secretariat also introduced a new seal to mark the 2010 International Year of Biodiversity, which is to be issued to all relevant divisions in the Ministry for use on official envelopes and letters.
