Past events

The Kingdom of Bahrain officially launched the celebrations of the International Year of Biodiversity 2010 by announcing on 7 January 2010 during the opening ceremony of a National Park within Arad Bay Marine protected Area.

The park comprises a walkway and entertainment facilities and it aims to attract the local residents and ecosystem service and their importance to sustain their lives.

MORE than 1,000 runners and athletes of different ages participated in the eighth annual Jawad Mini Marathon. The annual charity event is being organised by the Jawad Business Group in partnership with the American Mission Hospital (AMH). Organisers hope to raise funds for local charities and to increase public awareness about the environment.
